Today I came across an interesting project created by a 17 year old Russian called Andrey Ternovskiy. It isn’t anything very new but has an interesting theory behind it.

Aviary is one of those companies I believe will do very well in those web 2.0 (already 3.0?) and SaaS (software as a service) times. As software is becoming more and more web-based and cloud computing is heard more every day, I really think that companies which provide browser based software are going to rule the future of the way we use image editors, text editors, spreadsheets and so on. This is a movie with many verisons on the Internet and you probably already saw it. But it is a nice dive into how exponential are the times we are living in.
On the video below, Brian Tong of cnet.com, takes us through the main characteristics of the finally unwrapped Apple iPad.
To make a long story short: The iPad is a 1.5Lbs, 0.5inch thick gadget. Core apps were rebuilt specifically for this device.
